Guess began in 1981 as a book of styles by Paul’s brother Georges Marciano. His brothers Maurice, Armand and himself joined Georges to help him operate the company.
Paul created the advertising, all of it in-house!
In 1981, all of the brothers moved to Los Angeles and opened their first store in upscale Beverly Hills area, and the rest is history…
These days, Guess is one of the leading fashion companies in the world.
